Citing concerns about “harmful pollutants,” the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has recommended banning gas stoves from all new construction. It turns out, though, that the CPSC is not the original source of this latest “green” agenda: the World Economic Forum (WEF) is.
According to the CPSC, gas stoves are a “hidden health hazard” that harm children. As such, the government has to ban gas-powered appliances from everything new that gets built across the former “Land of the Free.”
“Natural gas stoves, which are used in about 40% of homes in the U.S., emit air pollutants such as nitrogen dioxide, carbon monoxide and fine particulate matter at levels the EPA and World Health Organization have said are unsafe and linked to respiratory illness, cardiovascular problems, cancer, and other health conditions, according to reports by groups such as the Institute for Policy Integrity and the American Chemical Society,” reported Bloomberg, citing a CPSC “study” on the matter.
CNN also chimed in, breaking from its usual covid fearmongering campaigns, to claim that “the science” is opposed to gas stoves – especially in “a small apartment … with bad ventilation.” Families with young children and gas stoves risk harming the former with the latter, the fake news giant insists.
None of this is true, of course. Gas is cheap, abundant, and highly efficient, while electric, the “green” alternative, is expensive, unreliable, and highly inefficient. But since the WEF and other globalist entities want gas to become inaccessible to the plebs, they are now manufacturing “the science” to claim that gas is dangerous.

Some states are already in the process of banning gas appliances, one of them being California. Last September, the California Air Resources Board voted to end the sale of natural gas heaters in the state by 2030.
New York Gov. Kathy “Karen” Hochul is also trying to ban all gas appliances in new construction, much like what the CPSC is trying to do nationwide – New York being another left-wing state like California that prefers “green” over freedom.
Policies like this that aim to forcibly restrict people’s freedoms and liberties are largely unpopular, even among registered Democrats. By embracing them, left-wing politicians like Hochul, and the globalists at the WEF, are only deterring the public from voting for and supporting them.
They seem not to care, though, as they are apparently under the impression that they now have full control over We the People, and thus no longer have to even try to veil their true intentions for the world.
“Big Brother wanting you to switch to electric so they can monitor you and control you better,” suggested a commenter about another possible motive here. “They can’t do that with gas as easily as they can electricity.”
“And so, they can yank it all out from under you as needed,” responded another, further noting that it is much easier to cut off the power than it is natural gas.
Someone else pointed out that the “study” the CPSC is citing to claim that natural gas is dangerous was funded by a left-wing environmental think tank whose stated mission is to eliminate natural gas in order to reduce “greenhouse emissions.”
“And obviously it’s in their financial interest to create a study that shows why we need to do this,” this same person added. “So all of this is junk.”
