The military-industrial complex “Emperor” has no clothes as the clown show known as the United States government continues its precipitous collapse into dust.
The latest circus performance came from U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, who hid from the entire nation the fact that he suffered a health crisis that resulted in a prostate cancer diagnosis, followed by two hospitalizations and a surgery – all as tensions continue to rise in the Middle East, and especially with the Houthis in Yemen.
According to reports, nobody in the Biden White House, including Austin’s most senior aides at the Pentagon, top officials at the White House, and even Joe “the big guy” Biden himself, had any clue that there was anything wrong with Austin – he simply disappeared in the middle of dealing with the Russia-Ukraine crisis, and now the Israel-Gaza crisis.
According to Roger L. Simon from The Epoch Times, Austin should be fired immediately for failing to tell his colleagues, as well as America, about his very serious medical condition. Had Austin done the right thing, the Pentagon’s No. 2, Kathleen Hicks, could have stepped in for him – instead she was off vacationing in the Caribbean.
“… the obfuscation, denial and misinformation on all ends of this, given the wars in Ukraine, the Middle East, and, potentially, the Pacific, is almost the most dangerous incompetence imaginable on a global scale,” Simon writes about the situation.
“It makes you wonder who’s minding the store here in the land that’s supposedly the guardian of the free world. Since the disastrous departure from Afghanistan, we have more than an inkling of that. The craziness and extraordinary lack of transparency in the matter of the secretary of defense’s prostate operation only hammers it home.”

Unlike Austin, Simon does not have a major government position with serious responsibilities that he shirked by quietly dashing off to the hospital for a prostatectomy without telling anyone. Simon also did, unlike Austin, notify his coworkers and superiors back when he himself had to get the same procedure.
“In my case, the operation was a big deal to my family and me, but not, needless to say, to the country,” Simon further writes. “All it did was delay my columns here at The Epoch Times for a few days, something I’m reasonably sure almost no one noticed.”
“Unlike Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, I had notified the company sometime before, in the person of Editor-in-Chief Jasper Fakkert, that I would be having the operation. He was gracious about it … Such things are almost always scheduled far in advance. Mine was. (Was Mr. Austin’s?)”
Typically, men who undergo prostatectomies do so long after they have already found out they have prostate cancer. Austin must have known about his condition long prior to undergoing the procedure, in other words, so why did he fail to tell anyone about it? Did he think nobody would find out?
Not only did Austin drop the ball, which is deserving of an immediate firing, he also proved in the process that he is entirely unqualified to even be the nation’s defense secretary, for many reasons.
“Mr. Austin has overseen, and been a prominent spokesman for, our new woke military that has turned our once-revered fighting forces into free, taxpayer-sponsored mills for transgender surgery – thus leaving our enemies in China, Russia, Iran and North Korea scratching their heads in bewilderment, but nevertheless, we can assume, smiling and laughing at the same time at our idiocy,” Simon writes.
